AK HOMESCHOOL CLASSES
We are a collective of private instructors offering a variety of classes to meet the needs of homeschooled students.
Classes in both core and enrichment subjects are available for grades K - 12. All instructors are approved vendors of the Anchorage School District, and most offer direct-billing to Alaska state-funded homeschool programs.
All core subjects are offered, plus art and Spanish.

Students attend group classes two days a week in a supportive, small-group setting — learning from Approved Vendors who bring structure and experience to each subject. Our classes are 15 weeks long. Fall semester runs from the 3rd Monday in August—to 1st Thursday in December. (School is closed the week of Thanksgiving). Spring semester runs from the 1st Monday in January—to 4th Thursday in April. (Spring break is the 3rd week in March).

THE GREEN ROOM LEARNING COMMUNITY
The Green Room Learning Community is designed to be an affordable option to provide greater support for those who aren't satisfied with traditional schooling but need more support than strictly independent homeschooling. Some charter schools cover the cost of full-time enrollment!
The Green Room offers a flexible two or four-day-a-week option for middle or high school students.

THE WORKSHOP, art, education, community
The Workshop is a community venue divided into 5 different spaces, each with a different purpose: a community space, a study/work/social space, an education space, an art studio, and a soundproof music lesson space.
The Workshop offers a variety of classes for grades K-12 with several different independent vendors. Check the website for a current schedule.
